Teague Profile
Multi-Choke technology is a comparatively recent phenomenon, before this, it was common for sporting shooters to carry two guns around - a trap gun for distance work and a skeet gun for close targets. Screw in chokes changed all that and the modern shooter was born.
The chokes are manufactured by a company skilled in precision engineering, for markets such as the aerospace industry.
The chokes are manufactured from 17/4 high tensile stainless steel, to exact tolerances. All the base measurements are closely related to the known mean bore sizes used by the gun manufactures.
By avoiding an abrupt taper from the main bore size to the desired constriction, the pellet deformation is reduced, with a marginal reduction in recoil, but above all, because the shot is constricted over a longer period, the patterns are greatly improved.
